SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT has been present in China since the mid-1970s through its subsidiary, Degrémont, the world's water treatment plant specialist. Since then, the company has designed and built more than 180 water treatments plants across China using SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT advanced water treatment technologies.
Degrémont designs and builds municipal drinking water production plants, desalination facilities, wastewater treatment plants and sludge treatment facilities for local authorities and industrial process water and wastewater plants, from the engineering stage to the commissioning. In addition, Degrémont can operate the installations and provide all the services required for them to function correctly (spare parts, renovation, etc). Degrémont has a subsidiary Degrémont Technologies that produces advanced water treatment technologies, most of which are patented.
