Investing to build a greener city
Investments have been made to improve CEM's environmental performance to align it with community expectations. Technology installed during the last extension of Coloane Power Station, which took place many years ago, had in mind the potential use of a cleaner source of energy, the natural gas, which commissioned in 2008, plays a key role in helping CEM reduce emissions. CEM's environmental performance will develop in line with community expectations.
